Haley Rose Moore FDMO Presidential final closing remarks:

"My name is Haley Moore. I am the president of FDMO. As we gather here today, I'm filled with immense pride and gratitude for what we've achieved together as the fashion design and merchandising organization. As the President of this incredible org, it's my privilege to stand before you and reflect on our journey over the past academic year.

When we embarked on this journey, we knew the road wouldn't be easy. We faced challenges, skeptics, and doubts as to whether we could pull off yet another massive show. But armed with passion, creativity, and unwavering determination, we pressed on. Our accomplishments speak volumes about the dedication and hard work of each and every member of this organization. 

One of our proudest achievements is our ability to thrive and succeed as a fully student-led organization. And we are immensely grateful for every faculty member who lent a helping hand along the way. To Our Student advisor, Monika Sinclair, who is welcoming a new child into the world this very night : thank you for all you have done for each student in our department. Though we wish you were here in person,  congratulations on welcoming a new life in your family.  Thank you to Margaret Hull who has given her unwavering support from the very start  and is always willing to be a voice for any student that needs it. Your grace with each student is admirable. With the help of these dedicated mentors, we've forged partnerships, leveraged resources, and created our own path to success. 

Together, we've organized an unforgettable fashion show that showcases our talent to the detroit community. But our journey doesn't end here. As we celebrate our past achievements, FDMO can  also look to the future with anticipation and excitement. There are still mountains to climb, barriers to break, and dreams to chase. And I have no doubt that after some of us graduate this next week with the same passion, resilience, and unity that have brought us this far, FDMO will continue to soar to even greater heights.

Before I conclude, I must take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible individuals who have stood by my side through every triumph and challenge: my executive board. To my Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, and Creative Directors , your dedication and unwavering commitment have been the driving force behind our success.

Together, we've weathered countless late nights and early mornings, pouring our hearts and souls into every project and initiative. From brainstorming sessions to emergency meetings, you've been my rock, my sounding board, and my source of inspiration.

The sleepless nights we've shared have not only strengthened our bond but also fueled our determination to overcome any obstacle in our path. Your passion, resilience, and tireless efforts have been the cornerstone of our organization's achievements, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

So, to my extraordinary executive board, thank you for your sacrifices, your hard work, and your unwavering belief in our vision. Our journey wouldn't be the same without each and every one of you."
